Antique store Prague with Bohemian glass

At Antique store Prague we will take you throught the history of any piece which is in our place. So you will know only decore your house but also a small piece of history.

Since due to the fragility of glass, antique glass is extremly valuable. You don’t have to worry that your antique or vintage glass souvenir will breake with just a light touch or during thoughtful transport home. However, given history – whether we’re talking about wars or the disdain for bourgeois historical objects during communism era – any piece is treasured.

Luckily, at Antique store Prage we dont need to have to rely only on glass that is 100 years old. Since glassmaking began to thrive again relatively soon even under the perimeter of communism. So today we can come across high-quality retro/vintage glass decorations, glasses, vases, ashtrays, etc. (And you can find less costly souvenir for you in our Antique Store Prague.)

We can owe this mainly to Expo 1958. Where the desire to shine and dazzle the western world caused support to the glassmakers. After the success at the expo, Bohemian glass returned to the limelight and Czech republic started to export it. Therefore today it is possible to find high-quality vintage decorations, cut glasses or ashtrays from this period.
